Evacuation
- When the alarm sounds, listen to the voice announcement for directions.
- If recommended to evacuate the building, please grab your wallet/purse and exit via the nearest Stairwell.
- Exit down the stairs in a calm and quiet manner so you may hear any announcements from Emergency personnel. Please do not wear earphones.
- Exit out the Stairwell closest to you.
- Once you have exited the building, proceed to the pre-determined meeting spot, which is either at the corner of 7th Street and Indiana Avenue or the corner of 6th and D Streets.
- Do not remain near the building. This is for your safety and will allow emergency personnel to do their job unimpeded.
Check in with your POC and/or Floor Warden and remain in your meeting place until you are directed by Fire Personnel or Building Management to re-enter the building.
